Welcome to Beyond the Ball, where we believe in the transformative power of football for women of all ages and abilities. Our mission is simple yet profound: to provide opportunities for women to experience the joy and benefits of football, regardless of their experience level. We are passionate about creating an inclusive environment where women can thrive physically, socially, and mentally through the beautiful game.

At Beyond the Ball, we offer a range of sessions and events designed to cater to all skill levels. Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced player, you'll find a welcoming community ready to support and encourage you. Our programmes include weekly training sessions, seasonal leagues, tournaments, and social events, all aimed at fostering a love for football and building lasting friendships.

Our commitment extends beyond the pitch. We are dedicated to raising awareness and funds for local community initiatives, ensuring that we give back to the community that supports us. We believe that football has the power to change lives both on and off the field, and we are proud to support local charities and community projects through our fundraising efforts.

Since our inception, we have engaged over 100 women aged 18-60 in our programmes, organised 5 successful seasonal leagues, and conducted 2 vibrant Sunday Tournament days. Our dedication to providing unique opportunities has even led us to facilitate international trips for our participants, expanding their horizons and experiences.

Our impact is measurable: we have positively affected over 100 community members and raised nearly £3000 for local and international causes. In 2023 alone, we completed 6 leagues, held 34 hours of football sessions with 151 women participating, and engaged 63 women in our weekly sessions with a total of 593 sign-ups.

We are honoured to be recognised by the Women's Football Awards as a nominee for the Best Grassroots Initiative of the Year 2024. This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our community.
